I develop an input method for Vietnamese called AVIM that you install as a Firefox extension. It isn’t exactly comparable to the systemwide input methods listed here, since it only works in Mozilla-powered applications like Firefox; still, I developed AVIM in part because native input methods such as the built-in Unikey and popular third-party input methods use a composition mode that gets in the way with additional keystrokes.
