Some Tiger Versions Have Russian Localization

Russian is not listed in the Tiger tech specs as an available localization, and neither my retail PPC install nor updates to 10.4.9 have it. But I recently got an Intel iMac with 10.4.7, and this does in fact include Russian as an option for menus and dialogues. I would assume all versions of Leopard should have this.

Good news! Have you checked if everything has been localised or just some highlights? I think the language packs you could download from local Apple sites in the past (like Greek, Russian, Icelandic) only covered part of the interface.

It looks pretty complete to me, at least from my inspection of the Finder and TextEdit menus.

It is strange that it cannot be patched onto an existing system. http://www.apple.ru/support/download/ still has a note that Software Update will not work if one downloads the files from this page.
